Potato chain
From the field, via the packer, fresh to the customer. That’s what we stand for at PotatoNext. The trading activities of our new cooperative are housed in PotatoNext B.V., the packaging activities in PotatoNext Processing B.V. In the near future, our products will be inspected, washed, dried, sorted and packaged in both Purmerend and Oud-Beijerland. In the near future, PotatoNext will establish itself in Oud-Beijerland and all business activities will be carried out at and from this location.
Every year we harvest and distribute approximately 160,000 tons of consumption potatoes in our dynamic organization. Around 40% of this goes to Dutch customers and 60% is intended for customers in Spain, Italy, Germany and Poland, among others. PotatoNext supplies various market segments at home and abroad, including retail, food service, catering and the processing industry.
In the potato chain we do everything we can to deliver quality. PotatoNext’s strength lies in its in-depth knowledge of the potato market and the short lines of communication with suppliers, customers and of course the members of the cooperative: the growers. We would like to tell you more about the various links in the cultivation, production and distribution process.
